Overview

Three time zones. Two shoes. One brief: give birth to a Tiger. In our latest project we broke the mould and created a set of launch assets for ASICS.

The Kayano TigerKnit is a different beast than its predecessors; the iconic design has been revolutionised with a unique, breathable fabric. Here at INK, we wanted to create something just as radical: a Tiger breaking out of its shell.

This took an act of international collaboration. Working with 180LABenedict Redgrove and ASICS we produced the striking black and white key visuals for the campaign and a dynamic animation for use across ASICS’ online and social platforms.

Creating assets to showcase the Kayano TigerKnit’s clean and innovative design was not without its technical challenges. From expanding the creative brief, building detailed CGI models to simulating realistic fracturing porcelain we stepped up to the challenge.
