The Turnmill

Derwent London

Overview

Initially built in 1887 as stables for the Great Northern Railway, the Turnmill later spent 23 years as a world famous 24-hour nightclub. We teamed up with Derwent London to transform this iconic building into premier office space, focused on maintaining its celebrated character and history.

We individually modelled each of the scheme's Petersen Kolumba bricks to reflect the texture and palette of their handmade design and to also highlight the intricacies of Piercy&Co's architecture. Our detailed series of 30 images later proved essential to the Turnmill securing a 20-year pre-let with media giants Publicis Groupe.
