About the Role
We are seeking a Photoshop Digital Artist to join INK’s Art Department. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in 2D retouching, photography, and digital image creation. The role also encompasses 3D (Blender) and Motion/Animation.
You’ll play a key role in producing high-quality visual assets, supporting both still and motion-based projects, and collaborating closely with creatives across disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:
Digital Imaging & Retouching
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop for high-end retouching and compositing
- Confident use of:
- Layer-based workflows for structured, non-destructive editing
- Advanced masking techniques for seamless compositing
- Vector pathing for precise selections and cutouts
- Blend modes & blending groups to achieve refined visual outcomes
- Experience handling large, multi-layered files efficiently
- Strong understanding of image cleanup, grading, and finishing for production
- Use of Photoshop Actions and batch processing to optimise workflows
Photography & RAW Processing
- Skilled in using DSLR/SLR cameras for capturing reference or production imagery
- Experience with Capture One for RAW processing and colour management
CGI Post-Production
- Experience working with CG renders and render passes (e.g. diffuse, reflection, Z-depth)
- Ability to integrate and enhance CGI within Photoshop pipelines
- Understanding of lighting, materials, and photorealism in post-production
CGI (Desirable)
- Skills within 3D packages are desirable, (Blender)
Motion & Storytelling (Desirable)
- Familiarity with Da Vinci or Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro
- Understanding of storyboarding and film language
- Ability to think in sequences, pacing, and narrative flow
Communication & Collaboration
- Strong ability to articulate creative thinking and design rationale
- Confident presenting work internally and, when required, to clients
- Effective communicator, able to collaborate across teams and disciplines
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Design, Digital Arts, or related field
- Proven experience in digital retouching and image-making
- Working knowledge of CGI post-production workflows
