Key Responsibilities:

Digital Imaging & Retouching

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop for high-end retouching and compositing
  • Confident use of:
    • Layer-based workflows for structured, non-destructive editing
    • Advanced masking techniques for seamless compositing
    • Vector pathing for precise selections and cutouts
    • Blend modes & blending groups to achieve refined visual outcomes
  • Experience handling large, multi-layered files efficiently
  • Strong understanding of image cleanup, grading, and finishing for production
  • Use of Photoshop Actions and batch processing to optimise workflows

Photography & RAW Processing

  • Skilled in using DSLR/SLR cameras for capturing reference or production imagery
  • Experience with Capture One for RAW processing and colour management

CGI Post-Production 

  • Experience working with CG renders and render passes (e.g. diffuse, reflection, Z-depth)
  • Ability to integrate and enhance CGI within Photoshop pipelines
  • Understanding of lighting, materials, and photorealism in post-production

CGI (Desirable)

  • Skills within 3D packages are desirable, (Blender)

Motion & Storytelling (Desirable)

  • Familiarity with Da Vinci or Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro
  • Understanding of storyboarding and film language
  • Ability to think in sequences, pacing, and narrative flow

Communication & Collaboration

  • Strong ability to articulate creative thinking and design rationale
  • Confident presenting work internally and, when required, to clients
  • Effective communicator, able to collaborate across teams and disciplines

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Design, Digital Arts, or related field
  • Proven experience in digital retouching and image-making
  • Working knowledge of CGI post-production workflows
