The Road Rat Edition 23
More than a decade in the making, Guy Berryman’s Jaguar XK GT is a deeply personal reimagining of one of motoring’s most celebrated forms. Conceived as an ongoing process of refinement, the project revisits Jaguar’s competition heritage through a singular lens, balancing traditional craftsmanship with contemporary restraint. Every surface and material reflects years of iteration, resulting in a car that feels both timeless and entirely individual.
Photographed by Benedict Redgrove for The Road Rat, the feature demanded the same level of precision that shaped the car itself. We collaborated on the final image series, refining light, tone, and surface detail to reveal the XK GT’s sculptural form and deeply personal character. The result is a study in obsessive craftsmanship and self-expression - a machine shaped by the pursuit of pure beauty.
