The Road Rat Edition 24

Developed to challenge Ferrari at Le Mans, the Ford GT40 has since become one of the most celebrated racing cars of the twentieth century. Behind its success was the ingenuity of Phil Remington, whose unconventional approach to engineering and relentless pursuit of practical solutions helped transform the GT40 into an endurance racing icon.

Featured in Edition 24 of The Road Rat, the Ford GT40 Mk III represents a rare road-going interpretation of Ford's legendary racer, with just seven examples produced. Photographer Benedict Redgrove captured the car as an expression of both engineering and design. Working in collaboration with Benedict and The Road Rat, our studio was responsible for retouching the striking imagery, celebrating the craftsmanship behind this extraordinary machine.
